Webline works with the UK's leading protection and medical insurance Providers, as well as with key investment companies, to offer comprehensive quotation and fulfilment services to its users. All links to the Providers are online, providing responsive and cost-efficient services to several thousand firms. We support an expanding range of product types, and work closely with Providers to deliver their products to new markets, quickly and economically.

We pioneered the provision of online quotation services to the large old style non-regulated distribution networks (now General Insurance networks), and we are the largest user of the Origo standard XML messages for quote services.

Ten things you may not know about Webline:

1. In January 2000, Webline became the first company to deliver online comparative term assurance quotes to Origo standards.
   
   
2. Webline is the second-largest provider of online comparative quotes in the UK. It is the largest producer of online quotations to the Origo standards.
   
   
3. Excluding the Exchange's Exweb service, providers claim that Webline supplies four to five times the quote volume of all other UK-based adviser portals added together.
   
   
4. Sixteen major term providers are currently live on Webline, as are eight investment bond providers and many other Providers across a wide range of products.
   
   
5. 1,200 intermediary firms have Webline quotes integrated on their websites, using their own "style sheet" to white label the Webline pages.
   
   
6. More than 50 nationals networks, banks and building societies, and thousands of advisers and staff use Webline for their comparative quotes - over 1,200 intermediaries log on every day.
   
   
7. Every month, Webline processes around two million individual quotes.
   
   
8. Webline does not conduct financial services business, but re-directs thousands of consumers per month to Financial Intermediaries' websites to obtain quotes.
   
   
9. Webline provides tracking mechanisms that allow users to see historical quotes, easily re-quote, view personalised illustrations, and monitor online application submissions.
   
   
10. Webline only costs £10 per month *, per firm, regardless of the number of users in that firm.
