Webline generates the largest volume
of online quotations using the Orgio "XML" messaging standards,
among all of the UK's quote services. We currently handle around
one million quotes per month. We were the first UK quotation service
to implement Origo / Unipass digital certificates for our end users.
Webline currently supports over 4,000
Financial Intermediary firms.
We are continually expanding and enhancing our services. Life (protection)
products, bonds, income protection, private medical insurance and
pension quotes are fully operational. About twenty Providers are
represented on Webline, with more due
to join. View the current list of
participating Providers.
Webline supports both "paper"
application forms - which may be downloaded and printed from "PDF"
documents - as well as electronic submissions. We support both Origo
PAC technology as well as direct Extranet links - in the latter
case, we prefer this to be an "intelligent" link that
allows the Provider's application forms to be pre-populated with
the quote data that we have already captured, and for Webline
to receive data back to help the intermediary track their business
status.
Webline Limited is an independent
and privately owned company. We are not regulated for the purpose
of conducting financial services business, but specialise in the
provision of quotation services, e-commerce / online fulfilment,
and related technology support to the UK insurance and financial
sectors. We work closely with Providers to ensure that their products
may be quickly and efficiently supported on Webline.
